The sun is set to hit us this weekend and we cannot wait. It goes without saying that a BBQ is essential. Whether it’s a low and slow or a hot sear on the grill it’s a fantastic reason to get some of the family over (following social distancing regulations) and enjoy some great food.

So lets get down to business… It’s time to fire up the grill and make some delicious tender salmon. This one is super simple and the results are phenomenal.

Step 1

Take a full side of Salmon and lay it in a tray on baking paper skin side down and drizzle with oil. Really is that easy. No thrills or spills and adds so much to the taste of an already delicious fish.

Step 2

Season with Salt and Pepper and drizzle with Lemon juice. Leave to sit for 15 minutes. This really allows for the juices to soak up into the skin and absorbs so much taste during the cook.

Preheat the grill to 180C and place the Salmon in for 45 minutes.

Step 3

Take out and move to a serving plate and garnish with some sliced lemon. There really is not much more to it. We love serving with some home made thin chips but also go great with a summer potato salad and a home leaf dressing. The lemon really compliments the crispy elements to the meal.

This is great for people who are not confident on grilling or are new. It’s very quick and forgiving. Let us know how yours went.
