Summer Cinema - FAQ's
What movies will be shown?
We'll be screening a variety of family-friendly and classic films. Keep an eye on our website or social media channels for updates on the movie lineup. All showings, films and times can be found via the website.
How do I purchase tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online through our website. There will be a limited number of tickets available on the entrance. If a screening is ‘Sold Out’ online then no tickets can be bought at the venue.
Is seating provided?
Yes, seating will be provided at the venue. Seating will be in keeping with our theme and will be deck chairs as we transport you to our very own beach.
If you feel that a deck chair might not be comfortable for you then we also allow you to bring your own picnic chairs if this would be a better option for you. Please note that depending on the chair you may be asked to sit towards the side to avoid blocking other customers.
Seats are unreserved and will be on a first come first serve basis for the best seat in the house.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Outside food and drinks are not permitted at the venue. However, we'll have a selection of snacks and beverages available for purchase during the event.
Is the event suitable for children?
Yes, the Summer Cinema Event is family-friendly and suitable for children of all ages. However, please note that children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
What happens if it rains?
The event will take place rain or shine. The event is taking place in our soon to be converted bedding house, therefore weather will not affect the showings!
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible, and we strive to make our events inclusive for all attendees. Please do note that the floor is sandy (about 2cm thick). There will be uncovered areas for wheelchair access.
Can I bring a pet?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the venue. They are allowed on site, but not within the cinema.
Is there parking available?
Yes, free parking will be available onsite for event attendees, just like a normal customer.
Are there any age restrictions for the event?
There are no specific age restrictions for the event, but please note that some films may have age recommendations or ratings. Parental discretion is advised.
Can I get a refund if I can't attend?
Unfortunately we are unable to make refunds. If you are unable to attend you may be able to move your ticket to another day if there is availability.
How do we hear the movie?
We will have a sound system built in around the room. No matter where you are, you will be able to hear the sound clearly!
Are there toilet facilities?
We have toilet facilities on site within our garden centre, which are easily accessible from the Cinema.
Can children attend unaccompanied by an adult
Children under 8 years old cannot attend a screening unaccompanied (regardless of film certification). They should be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or older.
Children under 12 cannot attend a screening unaccompanied after 7pm (regardless of film certification).
Children who are unaccompanied will be expected to behave in line with regular cinema regulations and we reserve the right to eject them from the screening as we would with all customers who do not act in line with our expectations.
