COVID-19 - What we are doing
So that we can make things safe for customers and staff we have implemented a wide range of social distancing measurements and changes to how we operate. We understand that some of these changes may be different to what you are used to but we are carrying these out to keep ourselves operational but also taking into account your safety. Please see below the list of changes we have made in-store.
To keep our customers and colleagues safe when shopping in our stores you must wear a mask or visor unless you have a medical exemption. Staff are encouraged to challenge this at the front of store and will remind customers who are not wearing masks on the importance.
We have also significantly reduced the number of customers allowed in our stores at any one time to ensure social distancing is maintained at all times. Due to the limit on the numbers allowed into the store at one time, you may be asked to queue. Please be patient and respect our staff.
At busy times we will be amending the route of the store and be operating a one-way system in places. Please be respectful of this, we are doing this to keep the flow of the store and reduce congested areas.
Please note our hours have changed ever so slightly to allow us to prepare to store for a safer environment. We will now be open Mon-Sat 9am-5pm & Sun 10am-4pm.
To limit contact, we would prefer that customers use card payment where possible. We will continue to accept mobile and digital wallet services such as Apple Pay. We will take cash payment.
Customers may be asked to use a trolley to reduce contact with staff at the checkout.
Our Sedum Restaurant is now open from April 12th for takeaway and outside seating. Inside seating will reopen when allowed in line with government guidelines.
Toilets, including dedicated disabled facilities, will be open and thoroughly cleaned on a regular schedule
While we would usually be welcoming of our 4-legged friends we have taken the decision to temporarily ban dogs from the garden center for the time being. We will look to allow them back in when it is safe to do so.
We will still be operating a local delivery service for those who are unable to visit the store. Browse our Website or call us for delivery options.
