Warranty Information

Our Promise to You
At Chessington Garden Centre, we’re proud of the quality we offer. We carefully choose trusted suppliers and ensure every product meets our high standards, so you can buy with confidence.

While we aim for products that last, we know issues can occasionally happen. That’s why we’ve put just as much care into our guarantees and customer support, making sure you’re fully covered if something goes wrong.

You’ll likely never need them, but for peace of mind, our warranties and guarantees are explained clearly below.

Some Friendly Advice
It’s always a good idea to keep hold of your receipt or order confirmation email, as we may need this to help locate your purchase quickly if you ever require assistance.

Things We Don’t Cover
While we always aim to support our customers wherever possible, there are some situations and types of damage that are not covered under our guarantees or warranties.

These include:
- Items that have been altered, adapted, or repaired by anyone other than the manufacturer or an approved service provider.
- Accidental damage, or damage caused by neglect, misuse, or failure to follow the care and safety instructions provided. In some cases, we may still be able to help with repair or replacement, but a fee may apply depending on the issue.
- Normal wear and tear, such as minor dents, scratches, or general ageing over time including fading of cushions and/or canopy.
- Accidental damage to glass, including cracks or shattering.
- Cushion components, such as zips, stitching, or cushion filling.
- Discolouration to small suction parts or fittings on certain products.
- Natural movement in rattan furniture, which may sag slightly during warmer weather due to its pliable nature. This should return to normal, however damage caused by extreme external heat sources or magnification (which may result in melting) is not covered. We also recommend using coasters when placing glassware on rattan dining tables.
- Non-structural cosmetic elements, which may be added to enhance appearance but do not affect the overall quality or integrity of the product. For example, minor cracks or marks on underboards or flaking on framework that does not impact performance.
- Visible staples on rattan products, which can sometimes occur if the rattan is pulled down (for example, by shoes when sitting). This can often be adjusted back into place and is not considered a fault covered under warranty.
- Ex-display or clearance items sold on a sold-as-seen basis.
- Complimentary or free accessories, such as free covers or promotional items included with a purchase.
- Mechanical parts such as hydraulics and pistons are only covered for one year from the date of purchase.
