IMPROVING SOIL STRUCTURE - Spread a thick layer 3-4 cm deep over the soil surface and, using a fork, work into the top 3-5 cm of the soil surface. When dug into clay (heavy) soil, it will create a much more open structure and improve drainage. When dug into sandy soil, it will improve soil structure, facilitating moisture retention during warm weather.

IMPROVING SOIL FERTILITY - Spread a thick layer 3-4 cm deep over the soil surface and, using a fork, work into the top 3-5 cm of the soil surface. It will provide a rich source of organic nutrients when dug into the soil. These nutrients are slowly released into the soil, improving fertility and adding humus.

MULCHING BEDS & BORDERS - Remove all weeds from the area and ensure it is moist and not frozen. Spread a thick layer 3-4 cm deep over the soil surface. It is ideal for mulching around trees and shrubs as well as your beds, borders, and vegetable plots. This mulch helps feed your plants, suppress weed growth, protect tender roots from frost damage, and reduce moisture loss during hot, dry weather.

Westland Bio-Life Soil Improver replenishes depleted soils. It has blends of manure and barks to improve soil structure and fertility. The soil works naturally in 3 ways to create the best foundations for growth. This includes physical structure, chemical organic matter & pH, as well as biological soil biodiversity and microbial activity.

If you are lucky enough to live in our delivery catchment area then our friendly delivery team will be delivering your order. They will contact you prior to your delivery to confirm a suitable date. Please note that they will not be able to enter your garden or premises and the delivery will be curbside.

Delivery to UK Mainland Only

Orders shipped via DPD will incur a £4.95 delivery fee
Orders shipped via Palletline will incur a £25 delivery fee
Orders shipped via our local delivery service (must be within our catchment area) will vary in charge and be specified at checkout.

Our Delivery Services

Small items (such as shop goods or gardening essentials) will be sent by a parcel courier with tracking
Large items (such as furniture or barbecues) will be sent by a large freight carrier with tracking. All furniture and barbecues will be sent on a pallet service unless otherwise specified.
- Delivery of such items will take place Monday to Friday between 8.00 am-6.00 pm. The courier company will contact you to co-ordinate a convenient day for delivery.
