A fresh bright patio can transform any outdoor space, check out our patio recommendations

For smaller outdoor spaces, a lighter stone can help give the illusion of more space. We recommend the Global Stone Bianco Marble. The large stones add to the feel of a bigger area and act as a surface to reflect sunlight from so make the space brighter. The texture of this type of stone is slightly rough and has a slight texture that gives a natural feel in your garden as well as grip when walking over it. The marble design is a great choice for both modern and rustic homes complimenting sleek and contemporary furniture. (in-store only)

Our recommendation for pairing the perfect furniture to this type of patio stone would be the Enjoi Shimmer White Compact HAT Casual Dining Sofa Set as the neutral tones of the cushions soften the colours of the white stone and add some warmth. For a slightly smaller and more casual set, try the ENJOi Bay Pebble 2-Seater Lounge Set with its soft curves, cream base and pump grey cushions.

Focus Range

Storm

For a smoother patio, we recommend our Focus range in Storm (grey)

The modern clean edges and smooth surface with natural stone design is the perfect patio for a large open outdoor area, perfect for putting garden furniture, chairs, or a barbecue on. It has a slight texture adding slip resistance, though its look appears smooth. The edge finish is straight creating beautiful lines and symmetry in your garden.

Crema

Another of our favourites is the Crema (cream) from our focus range. This porcelain stone boasts the same features as the storm grey colour but in a cream stone for those wanting a lighter colour scheme.

The focus range tiles in both colours are 18mm thick so they are sturdy and easy to place.

Rougher textured stone

If your garden is rustic and very natural, a more textured stone may suit your space better. We recommend the Global Stone Buff Brown and Castle Grey as they feature a natural rougher texture (currently in-stone only).

The Buff Brown colour has sandy undertones and a slate-like look. This stone patio would be suitable for country houses or cottages to compliment natural woods and earthy colours.

The Castle Grey tone works well with darker tones from other materials and furniture in your home and garden. These stones come in a range of different sizes so that you can create a simple uniform style or an asymmetric quirky design to suit you.
