Not Just Any Chicken Kievs For Dinner...

Locally sourced, fresh, and high quality chicken kievs, made in house with high quality seasoning that's exclusive to our Sedum Butchers! These kievs are not like the traditional with garlic butter in the middle, instead a large chicken breast is filled all the way through with the seasoned cream cheese mix and coated with a mix of herbs and spices. Choose from a range of flavours including Mexican (a staff favourite!), Spanish, and Garlic. 

Serve with basmati rice, or try one of our I heart Pasta snazzy fresh pasta shapes from our Farm Shop. Next, choose your vegetables. We recommend corn on the cob with melted butter, but you can choose from the amazing range of fresh vegetables, or frozen in our Field Fare freezers.


Kiev cooking directions:

  • Take the chicken kievs out of the packaging, place them on a baking tray with plenty of room in between them to ensure even cooking.
  • Put foil over the baking tray and cook for 25 minutes at 180 degrees
  • Then remove the foil and cook for a further 10-15 minutes

The Best Lamb Roast You'll Ever Eat

Start with a succulent leg of lamb from our butchers. If you don't fancy a leg of lamb, we also offer the neck, shoulder, chop and other cuts including some marinated options, so be fussy and get exactly what you want!

Then head to the fresh fruit and vegetables area of our Farm Shop and pick up some potatoes, carrots, and any other vegetables you like. They are locally sourced from farms nearby and perfect for roasting. We have some delicious seasonings if you want to take your potatoes to the next level.

We have a great range of condiments to choose from with high quality ingredients supporting small businesses such as Hawkshead Relish Company, and The Garlic Farm. If you want to go above and beyond, pick up some Yorkshire puddings from the Field Fare freezer and bake when your ready.

To finish off every good roast dinner...gravy! We have a great range of stocks and gravy's and recommend the Pott's lamb stock to add flavour and depth to your meal.

Now for the wine, we recommend a deep red wine such as a Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, or Merlot which you can find in our Beers, Wines and Spirits aisle.

Not Your Average Quiche

Were talking about the quiche range from The Original Baker.

They make 8 different flavours: smoked salmon and crème fraîche, bacon mushroom and cheddar, quiche Lorraine, Brie, sun blushed tomatoes and basil, roasted pepper and feta, butternut squash & goat's cheese, ham and mushroom, and cheese and onion. Each one available in full size and mini.

These quiches are so highly recommended by everyone who tries them and especially our staff! 

Try them with a side of buttered carrots and new potatoes. To accompany the dinner, head to the drinks area and go for a fresh Organic Lemon & Mint cordial from Belvoir Farm

Left Room For Dessert?

We have a brand new range of ready-made quality desserts that you can find in our fridges. Try the sticky chocolate pudding, Sticky lemon pudding, sticky toffee & toasted pecan nut pudding, or sticky ginger pudding from The Cotswold Pudding Company. Or for something lighter, we recommend try the Tiramisu panna cotta from Dessert Crema, the light creamy texture and smooth coffee flavour is a great way to finish off a big meal.

After Dinner Indulgence

Treat yourself and head to our cheese counter, we have a fantastic range of delicious quality cheeses that have been made locally.

We recommend the Pitchfork cheddar as a good solid cheese that everyone loves.

For the slightly more adventurous, try the daredevil chili cheese and black truffle cheese from Godminster Cheese. Enjoy a smooth creamy texture and woody taste before the strong flavours come out. These flavours are a big hit amongst our staff!
